Healthify, also known as Healthifyme that is a Health and Wellness platform that has raised $20 million to close the ongoing $ 45 million round from Khosla Ventures and LeapFrog Investments. Other investors included prominent names like Claypond Capital.
Previously, in 2023, Healthify raised investments as well, and with the current round of investment, its total primary raised equity is now approximately $125 million.
With this round of funding, Healthify wants to expand in the USA market by hiring local coaches and introducing nutrition and health suggestions based on AI. The company’s profit will be dependent on the AI subscriptions that users will take, but with the current rising trend of concern related to health and wellness, and in the USA, where people are already paying for such subscriptions, the company is confident of getting more customers in the USA. It is always easy to get into an established market as compared to a new market where you have to make people adaptable, said its CEO Tushar Vashisht, Co-founder and CEO of Healthify.
Tushar Vashisht also informed that the AI subscription in the US will be around $10-$15, and $250 would be charged for the coaches, and this pricing is competitive as compared to other competitors in the market. In the Indian market, the company is aiming to become profitable in the near term.
